1b to the person who finds out where Marcus lives. My character would like to "meet" him.
kugutsumen will be convoing you shortly
I'm in the most delicious system in the galaxy of course.
Soon to go to an elderly system though.
And for that gankbear thing meh I still think its some ridiculous spin on carebear trying to boost carebear morale or something.
Not that I fit that category of course

True, but doesn't make it any more than taking the easy path. We used to hunt once-upon-a-time in huge groups to take down prey to feed our families, we are now capable of doing the same with <=1 person.
Sometimes watching these gankbears it's like taking a group of 50 hunters with bazookas to take down a chipmunk... in a cage... with a broken leg... in a coma. Some people can be proud of themselves just for there being a kill - others like a sense of accomplishment/challenge. There are both types of people in the game, but IMO many more than feel pwnultimate when they take 15-20 people to demolish retrievers as they pass one-by-one through a gate from highsec to lowsec.
I <3 pirates that like a challenge - no fun playing when you KNOW you will win.
Calling a pirate a gankbear is like calling me a *snip, no way* -HornFrog
I suggest you never do that again thank you.
Challenges are nice but when you need to be ready for anything (ala gate camping or especially 0.0 gate camping) numbers are key.
I fly solo but I do understand the importance of numbers as the more numbers you have the higher chances of survival you have. I seriously doubt that 50 people would co chasing some one into a belt. You were probably just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Originally by: Gix Firebrand Erm calling someone a gankbear in no way equates to a racial slur.
Maybe you need to log off of the forums for a while :D
NEVER!
but for me it does its like they are trying to bring you down to their level by comming up with some poorly crafted knockoff insult

A stereotypical "carebear" likes to get the most advantage with no risk correct?
The description of a "gankbear" sounds very similar. You want to kill others with them having no chance of killing you.
Again, calling someone a carebear or a gankbear has no bearing in terms of racial slurs.
Actually I will go and attack whatever I feel I can get a decent ransom from (unless its a destroyer or a frig those just get popped for fun )
Unfortunatley in the most delicious system in the galaxy all I've been finding are caracals and hence I'm moving to a much more elderly system to find things worth pew pewing
And on the slur thing to each his own I view it my way and you view it yours and lets leave it at that.
